- Do not use oils or oily substances
Grease, Mobil and Petroleum in various parts of the regulator. Charges for painting or using Gikom copper. - Always install the adjuster adjusting screws (both hands) loose.
Before opening the canister valve, check that the regulator handle is released. Sudden gas flow can cause the pressure gauge to catch fire or be damaged. - Always open container valve slowly.
High temperature (the temperature of heat generated at this time is 150 internal pressure to 900C, and 20 atmospheres to 400C) is dangerous due to the phenomenon of single flame compression (heat regeneration to the inner shaft of the gas). The container valve opens quickly. Open it gently and slowly and let it rise gradually. - When handling the regulator, always operate the regulator from the diagonal position on the regulator gauge.
The weakest part of the regulator is the pressure agent. It is dangerous to stand in front of a pressure gauge when it suddenly breaks. - Let’s use the proper pressure ratio.
This regulator is dangerous when the maximum operating pressure is 10 kgf/cm2 or more, so use it below the maximum operating pressure (10 kgf/crm2). - Always have the canister valve handle and other tools nearby.
Always have a handle or tool to close the valve for immediate closure in the event of a fire incident. - Maintenance inspection
Please observe the following to preserve maximum performance and safety.- Check if the valve inside the regulator is leaking (direct).
- Check if the regulator pressure gauge is good.
- Check that there are no dents or wear on the screw part of the adjuster fastening nut and the head of the long screw. Check with soapy water for oxygen leaks.
- Check if the adjuster handle works well.
- Others
- When the regulator is not used for a while, be sure to close the container valve and release the regulator handle.
- Never disassemble the regulator.
